StageTools - C-7000 Connected Meter Companion
=============================================

WHAT THIS IS
A small Windows helper for StageTools. It lets a Sekonic C-7000 spectrometer
talk to StageTools on your iPad or iPhone over your local network, so the
guided calibration in StageTools can read the meter automatically.

WHAT IS IN THIS FOLDER
StageTools.C7000.Companion.exe .... the companion app (double-click to run)
Sekonic C7000 SDK Runtime\ ........ the Sekonic C-7000 SDK, used under license
  StageTools.C7000.UsbRecovery.exe .. recovery helper
ProtocolFixtures\ ................. reference data used by the app

Keep everything in this folder together.

REQUIREMENTS
  - A Windows 10 or 11 PC
  - A Sekonic C-7000 connected to the PC by USB
  - The PC and your iPad or iPhone on the same local network

FIRST RUN
Double-click StageTools.C7000.Companion.exe.

If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" notice, click "More info"
and then "Run anyway". This build is not code-signed yet, so Windows does not
recognize the publisher. A signed release will remove that notice.

SETUP
1. Choose the Ethernet or Wi-Fi adapter that is on the same network as your
iPad or iPhone. The companion asks on every launch.
2. If Windows Firewall asks, allow the companion on Private networks.
3. Connect the C-7000 by USB, set ambient mode and the measuring ring to LOW,
   then click Connect & Preflight.
4. In StageTools, tap Use C-7000 Companion and keep the companion open while
   you measure.

If Windows has no driver for the C-7000 yet, the companion asks before it
downloads Sekonic's official driver package and opens Sekonic's installer.
If the meter stops responding over USB, the companion can restart it with the
recovery helper. Windows asks for administrator permission first.

ABOUT THE SEKONIC SDK
The Sekonic C-7000 SDK in the "Sekonic C7000 SDK Runtime" folder is included
under the SDK license agreement with Sekonic / Inovanti. It ships only inside
this companion and is loaded from that folder. Please keep those files in place
and do not copy them out of this package.
